Ben Winter

Social Science Analyst, Office of Policy Development, PD&R

Ben Winter is an analyst for the Office of Policy Development at HUD since the fall of 2009. Ben provides analytical support to HUD's senior staff and program offices for the development of a variety of Departmental policies and initiatives. He has a special interest in affordable housing provision, community and economic development programs, and delivering effective and innovative policy solutions. Prior to HUD, Ben was a Briarwood Fellow at NYU's Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy and studied the New York City zoning resolution and housing and community statistics. He completed a Master of Urban Planning at NYU's Wagner School for Public Service and an undergraduate degree in International Relations, Spanish Literature, and Global Cultures at UW-Madison.
