Head of Digital Experience Delivery

Chris Cox joined USAA in January 2014 and serves as the Chief Digital Officer. Chris leads the strategy and execution of USAA’s digital channel at an enterprise level and is responsible for envisioning and delivering an integrated, seamless, digital customer experience across the website, tablet, mobile devices, voice and emerging channels.Chris has over twenty-eight years of financial services industry experience including digital strategy, marketing, product development, portfolio management, credit and operational risk, information technology and business development. Immediately prior to joining USAA, Chris worked at Regions Financial Corporation where he served as Executive Vice President, Head of Digital Channels. Chris’ career has been primarily focused on digital and channel strategy and operations. Prior to joining Regions Financial Corporation, Cox served in a variety of leadership roles at Wells Fargo / Wachovia, Computer Sciences Corporation and Bank of America.Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas, a Master of Business Administration from University of Houston, and a Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University.Chris and his wife, Karen, have two children – Kate and Sam.
