Kimberly Koenig, Fiscal Resources Manager, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) has over fourteen years of local governmental experience (all of which has been in the issuer capacity) and over twenty years of federal government experience. She is responsible for the day-to-day management oversight of the treasury functions of VTA, including debt management/investor relations, investments/cash management for operating, pension and other post employment benefit trust funds, and long term financial forecasting. Ms. Koenig has overseen numerous financing transactions including leveraged leasing of VTA assets and debt financings totaling $3 billion. VTAs debt portfolio consists of tax-exempt/taxable debt in fixed and variable rate mode, as well as numerous interest rate swaps. VTAs investment portfolio consists of about $2 billion of assets (including $600,000 of pension/retiree medical trust funds), invested in fixed income and equities. She is also a member of the VTAs Deferred Compensation Advisory Committee, which is responsible for fiduciary oversight of over $153 million in employee/retiree 457 and 401a Plan contributions. Ms. Koenig has a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Science Degree in finance from Golden Gate University.
