Mary has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, which gives her the skills and knowledge to help clients with virtually any type of question or issue ranging from investments to insurance, taxation to real estate. Her love for her work is best revealed in her ability to discuss global economic policy with you as easily as she can give advice on purchasing long-term care insurance.\nShe holds Bachelor of Science Degrees cum laude in Economics and Business Administration from St. Marys College, in Moraga, CA and a Master of Science Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University, in San Francisco. Mary is a Certified Public Accountant and also holds her California Community College lifetime teaching credential, which reflects her passion for client education.\nMary has started two companies which trade publicly today. She started an international special risk insurance company where she held the prestigious position as Chief Operations and Financial Officer. She was also instrumental in the formation and development of a software firm as its Chief Financial Officer and founding board member which is currently owned by Cox Communications. Mary has owned and oversaw the growth of a regional professional accounting firm which offered management advisory services, estate and wealth planning, extensive financial planning and professional trustee services. Additionally, she served as the Branch Manager for UBS Financial Services in Grass Valley, CA before deciding to form her own firm.\nMarys varied life experiences give her the ability to provide practical financial advice. She offers discretionary asset management, estate and wealth transfer planning, strategic liquidity analysis, business succession planning, comprehensive financial planning and tactical portfolio management. Mary firmly believes providing guidance and solutions to lifes transitional issues creates stability in lifes ever-changing landscape.\nMarys approach strives to create a realistic financial plan for clients, which helps them to understanding their financial circumstances. She enjoys gardening with her husband, reading, sewing, hiking, fishing, travel and above all, spoiling her grandkids. She has volunteered since 1994 as a statistician for Nevada Union High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Football with her husband, and served as Treasurer for Hospice of the Foothills and the American Red Cross. Mary was also elected on the Auburn City Council and served as Mayor.
