Megan is Chairman�of Baker Boyer headquartered in Walla Walla, Washington. Baker Boyer is the oldest independently owned community bank in the Pacific Northwest. Its team of advisors have diverse expertise and are focused on one goal: to help local families manage assets to build local legacies.Baker Boyer has been a top performing bank over the years receiving recognition in many areas. It has been ranked on American Banker’s list of the “Top 200 Community Banks” consecutively since 2008. Seattle Business magazine has ranked it on the list of “Best Places to Work in Washington” consecutively since 2004. Additionally, Baker Boyer was recognized by Seattle Business Magazine as winner of the Best Family Business Award in 2012.Megan has brought about a great deal of change in a family owned community bank at a time that the overall industry is challenged. She has increased the bank’s profitability, grown its customer base and opened new offices during a very tough economic period.She currently serves as a Director for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, is the Vice President of the Foundation Board for the Ruckelshaus Center and is on the board of trustees for Whitman College. Prior to joining Baker Boyer, Megan worked for Marakon Associates, an international consulting firm that was a spin-off of Wells Fargo’s Corporate Finance group. Megan is a graduate of Whitman College and the Sloan School of Management, MIT.
