Michael Niedermeier

As a partner, Mike has over 30 years of experience in providing accounting, auditingand consulting services to clients in the construction, real estate, manufacturing,distribution, technology and professional service industries. He serves in an advisoryrole on many of the firm’s engagements. He serves as BlumShapiro’s partner-in-charge, Southern Connecticut.Mike received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross in 1974 and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management in 1975. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1979. Mike has been associated with Price Waterhouse & Co. and KPMG Peat Marwick. He joined Nishball, Srebnick, Zaluda and Carp., P.C. as an audit manager in 1979 and was admitted as principal in 1983. He served as managing principal of Nishball, Carp, Niedermeier, Pacowta & Co., P.C. from 1994 until the firm’s merger with BlumShapiro in January 2009.
