Nathan Taylor concentrates on assisting clients in managing consumer information, including customer and employee information, and developing procedures, practices, and other solutions to comply with complex privacy and information security laws.Mr. Taylor has significant experience advising clients on compliance with various federal and state privacy and information security laws. He regularly advises clients on issues related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (�GLBA�), including, developing privacy policies and advising on affiliate sharing and affiliate marketing issues. He also advises clients on a wide spectrum of information security laws, including the GLBA and state safeguards and security breach notification requirements and state Social Security number laws. In addition, he advises clients on matters related to security breaches, including complying with consumer and state regulator notification requirements.Mr. Taylor also handles matters related to consumer financial services and the regulation of financial institutions. For example, he advises clients on general banking issues, including matters related to consumer financial products and services and compliance with Regulations E, II, P, V and Z.Mr. Taylor received his B.S. degree from McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, cum laude, in 2000. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2003, where he was a Notes Editor on the Virginia Law Review.
