Stefan Happ is Chief Commercial Officer, Enterprise Growth�at American Express. In this role, Stefan has P&L responsibility for the digital prepaid business across international markets and in the United States, including business development, client management, marketing and portfolio management for prepaid and new online and mobile payment capabilities and services, including the Lianlian Group digital wallet in China, Bluebird, in partnership with Walmart, and Serve, the company's next generation payments platform, as well as the AXP single load and gift card business.Previously, Stefan served as SVP and GM in the company's U.S. prepaid business, re-launching American Express Serve in 2013, which has won numerous industry awards and is now available in over 30,000 retail locations across the country, as well as leading the dramatic growth of the American Express Gift Card and Reward Card franchises in the United States and Canada. He has also spearheaded the company's introduction of the ground-breaking family of reloadable prepaid cards, both through the American Express E-commerce channel and through numerous distribution partnerships.Prior to moving to the U.S., Stefan spent ten years at a number of American Express divisions and functions in the UK and Continental Europe, and served as a board member on three joint ventures.He began his career at British Airways, where he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and operations in the United Kingdom as well as Central and Eastern Europe. He holds a BA from University College London and an MBA from Lancaster University Management School.�
