Divisional Executive Vice President and Branch Manager

Tammy Butts is a divisional executive vice president and branch manager for AXA Advisors, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, she began her career in banking. In 2001, she transitioned to insurance and investments, taking a position as a financial professional for AXA Advisors in Chicago. \n\nAs a financial professional, Tammy built a successful practice providing financial planning strategies and guidance to families and business owners. In 2005, she was promoted to divisional vice president and district manager for the branch. In that role, she hired and developed a successful, diverse team of financial professionals to work out of the branch. Recognized for her success, she received several management awards including the National Builders Trophy honoring her district for ranking seventh nationwide in sales and recruiting. \n\nIn January 2009, Tammy was promoted to divisional executive vice president of for AXA Advisors, given the responsibility of co-managing the Illinois branch of 300 financial professionals and staff. As a female manager, Tammy is passionate about introducing this rewarding career to women and minorities.\n\nAn active leader in the company, Tammy is a member of a national management committee for AXA Advisors, serving on the Diversity and Recruiting sub-committees. Active in the industry, she is a qualifying member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, an international professional association recognized as the standard of excellence in the life insurance industry. Tammy is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Chicago chapter of Financial Services Professionals and the Greater North Shore Estate Planning Council. \n\nTammy received a B.B.A in Finance from Texas Christian University. Committed to professional education, Tammy has earned the advanced designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Last year, she was recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a ¡§Woman Worth Watching„¥¡¨ in 2010.\n\nTammy¡¦s favorite hobby is cooking with her husband and three children at her home in Northbrook, Illinois. \n
