Teresa Woods

Ms. Woods provides legal support to the Bank's mortgage servicing and secondary marketing lines of�business.� She has extensive experience in default and non-default mortgage servicing, including vendor oversight.� In 2015, Ms. Woods was the recipient of the Chief Legal Office’s Shining Star and Excellence in Teamwork awards for her team contributions and leadership in a strategic Bank initiative for USAA’s servicing operations.Prior to joining USAA,�Ms. Woods was a V.P. Assistant General Counsel with Stearns Lending, LLC supporting various mortgage lending and servicing departments, including MSR sales and acquisitions.� She was the lead attorney for the annual internal audit/validation testing, remediation and continued oversight of their subservicer.Previous to this position, Ms. Woods was a V.P. Group Operations Manager and Senior Site Attorney with Bank of America where she managed a legal support and litigation management group supporting mortgage originations and default and non-default servicing. �Ms. Woods was the recipient of two Gold Awards for strategic preparation of the Dodd-Frank legislative changes affecting the QWR process, redesigning the document execution process for all levels of staff, and managing risk assessment of case portfolios.Ms. Woods earned her J.D. degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, San Antonio, TX and�graduated magna cum laude with a�B.S. degree from Texas Woman’s University, Denton, TX.�She is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Ohio (inactive).� Ms. Woods is a veteran of the Ohio Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force Reserves and she is a proud military spouse to a retired Major and pilot of the U.S. Air Force.�
