Director of Bond Finance

Mr. Nelson assumed the position of Director of Bond Finance for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (the “Department”) on December 7, 2009. He is responsible for the development and administration of the Department's Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bond Program. Mr. Nelson also oversees ongoing compliance monitoring and disclosure requirements related to the Department's investments and single family and multifamily bond programs.Mr. Nelson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and a Master of Business Administration degree in International Finance from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to employment with the Department, Mr. Nelson was a single-family housing investment banker for RBC Capital Markets in Phoenix, Arizona.
