Wade joined Jack Henry & Associates, Inc.� (JHA) through the company’s acquisition of Banno, a company that he founded and developed to help banks and credit unions become more involved in their customers’ financial decisions. Banno was recognized with accolades such as the top 10 financial technology companies to watch by American Banker, and the Technology Association of�Iowa's�Prometheus Award for small/medium software company of the year.�At JHA, Wade’s role is to shape the mobile and consumer experience strategy as well as drive Banno innovation. His vision includes helping financial institutions engage customers in ways that monetize the digital channel, embrace new generations, and strengthen the overall solvency of digital banking for years to come. Wade’s presentation of the Banno Platform story at FinnovateFall 2015 was widely lauded and shared throughout the industry.Wade entered the industry as an Adobe Enterprise Evangelist and the lead developer, touring the world to speak at Web development conferences and authoring books on open source development. Today, he spends more time focusing on distributed functional programming.�He is president of the Association for Financial Technology (AFT), an active board member of the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance and an executive board member of the Technology Association of Iowa, speaking at these associations’ events regularly.
