Denise Kalos
President, Affirmativ Health

Denise M Kalos is President of WA. Based Affirmativ Health, a pioneer in evidence-based, personalized protocols to work with individual’s at risk for early-stage Alzheimer’s.

Previously, she was VP, Cognitive Wellbeing Programs for the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, a non-profit research institute focused on aging and age related diseases. Ms. Kalos developed the RE:mind immersion program for the Buck, in 2015 in reaction to readership interest in the Dr. Dale Bredesen’s paper published August 2014 entitled “Reversal of Cognitive Decline”.

Before the Buck Institute, she was Vice President and thought leader for the Human Capital Institute. Prior to HCI, Ms. Kalos was VP Corporate Solutions for O'Reilly Media and a member of O'Reilly's Steering Committee for this technology futurist company that coined the term, "Web 2.0".

Earlier in her career, she was Human Capital Practice Leader for technology strategy consulting firm, C-Change, Inc. leading HR restructuring for major Fortune 500 clients (State Farm, Motorola, AOL). Prior to C-Change, as VP Human Resources, she was part of the executive team that brought San Francisco based AMB Properties Corporation "public".

Ms. Kalos holds a Master's of Science Degree in Human Resource Management and Training from University of Leicester and is a California licensed health and accident insurance agent. She is a regular speaker at regional, national and global Human Resources and Health & Wellness conferences, speaking recently in Russia on "Health & Wellness 2020," next generation health/wellness programs
