As the Director of Sustainable Services for Miron Construction Co., Inc., Theresa’s role is to inspire sustainability throughout Miron’s culture, integrate “green” into their business practices and construction operations, lead their sustainable education program, and help their clients and design/build partners to create healthy, high-performing built environments.

Currently Theresa is working on Oshkosh Corporation, a $44 million corporate office that is among the first projects in Wisconsin to pursue Fitwel certification, a green building rating system focused on enhancing the health and wellbeing of people. Theresa has worked on over 80 projects across many market segments seeking LEED certification. The evidence is clear; people are a product of their environment; high-performance, healthy environments make a difference.

Named as ENR magazine's top 20 under 40, and honored as a LEED Fellow in 2012, Theresa is the world’s youngest LEED Fellow. She is credentialed as a LEED AP BD+C, ID+C, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, LEED Faculty, and WELL Faculty. She is an actively involved with the International Well Building Institute (IWBI) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Identified as a Subject Matter Expert, she serves on many national committees and working groups, including the LEED Advisory Committee for LEED v4 and v4.1 and leads pilot projects for LEED v4 and v4.1, and is a participant in the WELL v2 Portfolio Pilot Program.
