10 best companies for women to work

With 2.3 million women pushed out of the workforce during COVID-19, they’re on the hunt for supportive employers and benefits that will help them get back on track.

Employee experience platform Great Place to Work ranked the best companies for women, with 75 employers across industries making the list. The rankings were based on responses from female employees about their experience at work, as well as representation at the company.

“These companies have made a commitment to fostering equity in the workplace,” Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work, said in a release. “With the facts about gender inequity in mind, [they’re] ensuring their women employees feel safe, heard, challenged and valued.”

Women have struggled during COVID, tasked with the bulk of caregiving and childcare responsibilities that forced them out of full-time employment. As employers look to recruit and retain their post-pandemic workforce, ensuring women are represented and have supportive benefits like mental health support, childcare options and more can be key to helping them succeed.
