The American Cancer Society announced changes to its lung cancer screening guidelines, expanding their recommendations to all people over 50 who smoked more than 20 packs per year, and removing the minimum requirement for 'years since quitting.'

As nearly 5 million more Americans now qualify for these essential screenings, employers should be asking themselves what more they can be doing to help their employees adhere to the updated screening guidelines and avoid costly late-stage disease.

Dr. Alicia Zhou, Color's Chief Scientific Officer and Dr. Robert Smith, Senior Vice President, Cancer Screening of the American Cancer Society discuss:

  • Why the guidelines are being updated
  • How to know when your employees should pursue screening
  • And how to get this life-saving intervention to them quickly
