Over 10,000 Deere & Co. workers went on strike after representatives from the company and the United Auto Workers union failed to reach an agreement over a new labor contract.
The strike, which began around midnight Chicago time on October 14, comes after a tentative agreement was rejected that would have covered employees at 14 facilities across the U.S.

With the support of the CWA, hundreds of workers are on strike today in an effort to gain liveable wages.
The deal includes a 25% hourly pay raise plus cost-of-living allowances.
Workers walked out on a Ford plant in Michigan, a General Motors factory in Missouri and a Stellantis plant in Ohio.
The union says Starbucks has refused to negotiate in good faith, and that not a single store has reached a collective bargaining agreement with the company.
