Benefits Think Republicans set repeal and replace process in motion

Today an aide to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) announced that the House will vote Jan. 12 to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Wall Street Journal reports. The vote is just the first step toward draining the lifeblood from the law through legal, appropriations and other maneuvers Republicans have at their disposal.

Suspended 401(k) matches poised for a comeback

Employers are clearly more optimistic about the economy, for another 40% that had suspended 401(k) contributions will resume them by mid 2011, doubling the 40% that already have resumed suspended or reduced matches, reports the Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America.
