Two Republican congressional leaders have written to Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Doug Shulman demanding information on how the IRS is spending $1 billion in funds the agency received under the health care reform law.
House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Charles Boustany, R-La., sent a letter to Shulman on Thursday seeking details on how the IRS is using the money it received from the Health Insurance Reform Implementation Fund (HIRIF).
