To show the tangible value of telework, a group that works on telecommuting policies has announced the week of Feb. 14, 2011 as National Telework Week.
“Telework Week is a call to action for agencies, organizations and employees alike. It is the perfect time to start a telework discussion with management,” says Cindy Auten, general manager of Telework Exchange, the Virginia-based organization behind the public-private initiative. “For agencies and organizations, it provides an opportunity to examine how telework can support business operations,” she adds.
