Brokers have more data, technology and automation than ever. But that does not necessarily make it easier to see what is really happening inside a client’s benefits program.

Sometimes, a strong completion rate or high email opens can conceal deeper problems. That creates challenges, but it also can create opportunities for advisers. As more routine benefits work becomes automated, brokers can add more value by spotting problems clients may not recognize themselves.
