What does being a benefits professional mean to you?

I’ve recently fallen in love again with haikus. I haven’t thought about them much since learning about them in a grade school poetry unit, but as fate would have it, I’ve rediscovered them in the last few weeks.

I find their simplicity lovely, and it sparked an idea I had for you. No, I’m not asking you to write a haiku (although if the spirit moves you to write one, I’ll gladly read it).

Rather, I’d like to know — in similarly simplistic terms — what being a benefits professional means to you.
