Overview
This weeks news included reports that found Healthcare.gov botched $600 million worth of contracts and more than 2 million public exchange enrollees eligible for cost-sharing reductions are not receiving the subsides because they selected a non-qualifying plan. Heres what EBA readers had to say.
Keep the government out of health care

Who is really paying the price?
Generous leave provisions sound very nice but if the remaining workers are simply told that they have to do the work of that person on leave for six months who is really paying the price for that leave, the company or the co-workers? Companies like the P.R. they get from announcing such perks but if they had to hire someone in to do the work during the time of that leave I suspect most of them would not be interested in offering that benefit.

Give the free market a chance
How about letting the free market take a try at producing a valuable and usable product? If companies can't do that, they fail unlike the feds who just keep throwing money at a failing program. And that money is yours and mine.

Let the professionals handle health care
The feds should stay with national defense, infrastructure and the maintenance of a stable currency. The rest should be left to professionals who actually know what they're doing.
