(Bloomberg) — The Republican-led U.S. House voted to postpone two significant provisions of the Affordable Care Act Wednesday.
The measures aren’t expected to advance in the Democratic-controlled Senate. Since its enactment in 2010, the House has voted 37 times to repeal or defund at least part of the ACA, including three times to annul the entire measure.

The House approved a three-year extension of ACA tax credits as some GOP lawmakers broke ranks, aiming to push the Senate toward a bipartisan deal.
Companies with 10 or more workers would have to contribute at least 50 cents per hour worked to each employee's retirement account.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that about 750,000 employees will be furloughed at a cost per day of $400 million in lost compensation.
If passed, health insurance companies would have 15 days to pass information to employer health plans.
Overcoming holdouts for a 219-213 victory, the bill now advances toward a final vote.
