Term life product targets blue-collar market

Dearborn National’s Worksite and Individual Solutions division hopes to reach new heights with Mountain Vista, a new term life plan aimed at working-class Americans with premiums projected to be level for 10, 20 or 30 years.

The product also offers an accelerated death benefit at no additional cost upon diagnosis of a terminal illness, as well as optional coverage for a child that can be converted to a whole life policy up to five times its face amount without evidence of insurability and death benefits for a spouse ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. Optional coverage also is available in the event that the policyholder is unable to work.

In addition, there are portability and convenience features that enable policyholders deduct premiums from their paycheck or automatically withdrawn the amount from their checking account, even if they change jobs. Dearborn National offer a broad range of group benefits on an employer-paid and voluntary basis, as well as worksite and individual policies.
