Picture an employee who looks fine on paper. Reliable, good with people, positive attitude in every meeting. But beneath the surface, they may still be carrying pandemic exhaustion, learning AI-driven changes on the fly, living with little emergency savings, caring for an aging parent, or worrying about a child who is struggling.
They know their company has an employee assistance program (EAP), but they’ve never used it or heard of anyone using it. They don’t know exactly what it covers, what it costs, whether it’s confidential, or how to access it before they reach a crisis. Their performance review may still look fine, but that does not mean they are okay.
