While many companies claim to prioritize diversity in the workplace, delivering on those promises is another matter. Comparably, a platform that provides compensation and culture data for companies, had workers themselves put their employers to the test.
Comparably ranked 100 companies with 500 or more employees based on anonymous feedback from employees of color. Final rankings were decided by the responses to nearly 20 workplace culture methods, such as compensation, career growth, leadership, coworkers and work-life balance. Notably, these metrics are similar to the ones used for Comparably’s “Best Company Culture” ranking, but with a focus on how BIPOC workers respond.
