10 best companies for diverse talent

While many companies claim to prioritize diversity in the workplace, delivering on those promises is another matter. Comparably, a platform that provides compensation and culture data for companies, had workers themselves put their employers to the test.

Comparably ranked 100 companies with 500 or more employees based on anonymous feedback from employees of color. Final rankings were decided by the responses to nearly 20 workplace culture methods, such as compensation, career growth, leadership, coworkers and work-life balance. Notably, these metrics are similar to the ones used for Comparably's "Best Company Culture" ranking, but with a focus on how BIPOC workers respond.

Pulling from over 15 million anonymous employee ratings on 70,000 companies, the sixth annual "Best Companies for Diversity" list specifically looked at feedback given between Nov. 27, 2021 and Nov. 29, 2022. RingCentral once again took the number one spot, while Chegg moved up two spots since last year, now placing at number four. Hubspot is the only company in the 2022's top 10 to place on Comparably's list for six years in a row.
