Brian Coleman (00:05):
Some of the biggest challenges right now is the healthcare market itself. It's not just GLP ones, even though it's a very large part of our pharmacy spend. We have other specialty meds that are over a million dollars for one family. We also are looking at, we've reduced emergency room, all of those things that are expensive. We've actually had a reduction in the last two years in usage. However, the costs have all gone up.
(00:40):
That is all development on the deck. We were actually five years ago, heavily looking into AI and got ready to pull the trigger. However, we thought we could build it in-house. That doesn't work so well, so we put it on hold for five years, continue to try to be best in class while we were waiting for the rest of the organization to determine what that direction would be, and then start moving forward together. The other challenge is anything we do isn't just for the United States. Dawn is a global employer, so we have to look at will it work in the states? Will it work in Europe and op, or will it work in Latin America? All of those things are conditional in making sure that we can effectively do it across all of our organizations.
(01:34):
As a mentor, do that favor, break down that barrier, reach out to that person if you have something to either give as a point of contact or hey, a piece of advice. But a lot of times what works really well in those situations is reach out with a handshake and say, you know what? I saw you do this and it's a great thing. Thank you for your contribution. It sets the stage in mentoring that everybody likes.
