Mutual of Omaha recently brought more than a century of disability income insurance market know-how to a new product offering in this area.

Disability Income Choice at Work enables employers and employees alike to tailor the right individual plan to their benefit needs and help protect an ability to earn an income.

Among the flexible options that are part of the carrier’s newest worksite market lineup: three portable products that can be customized by using optional riders, as well as preferential premiums and underwriting, through employer-paid, voluntary or carve-out programs.

The move comes several months after Mutual of Omaha launched an online enrollment system to support the selection of voluntary products with more compelling communication and streamline the creation of personalized enrollment materials.
