Since 1998, Cheryl has been providing financial advisory and private wealth management services to a distinctive clientele. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, she specializes in providing holistic financial planning services. She is also a Chartered Financial Consultant.Cheryl attended New Mexico State University as a Presidential Scholar, graduating with honors with a degree in psychology and business administration before pursuing postgraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of New Mexico. She credits her competitive academic drive which led to her graduate from high school at 16 and from college at 20 to her experience growing up in a family of 11 children.Cheryl has received numerous awards, including the Presidential Award for Best Financial Advice in 2004 from American Express. Reuters ranked her as one of the top advisors in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 and 2010, Cheryl was invited to attend Barrons Winner Circle for Top Independent Advisors and for the top 1% of all Women Advisors. She was included in San Jose Magazines Women in Business list in 2004 and 2006. Additionally, she has been invited to present numerous personal finance classes at multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Apple, Microsoft, AT&T, Nortel and IBM.In the community, Cheryl serves on the board and finance committee of FLY Fresh Lifelines for Youth, a nonprofit organization helping at-risk youth in the Bay area. She is also active with Team in Training, which raises funds for leukemia and lymphoma treatment and research.As the mother of three boys, Cheryl is committed to properly balancing work and life. She has run three marathons and nine half-marathons in the past three years and is currently pursuing her black belt in Tae Kwon Do. In her spare time, she enjoys running, kickboxing, golfing, skiing and reading.
