Christopher Poinsatte

Executive Vice President-Chief Financial Officer

Chris Poinsatte was appointed Executive Vice President-Chief Financial Officer for the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in September 2003. He is responsible for finance, strategic planning, performance measurement, and information technology. Mr. Poinsatte is currently focused on restructuring $3.6 billion of outstanding debt, issuing an additional $2.7 billion of new debt to fund DFW’s terminal renewal program, implementing a new “hybrid” airport business model based on a new 10-year Use Agreement with the Airlines, and fine-tuning DFW’s performance measurement and continuous forecasting processes. Mr. Poinsatte has spent about half of his career in the private sector including positions with Arthur Anderson, the Associates Corporation of North America, and two start-up/turn-around management opportunities; and half in the government sector with Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the Airport. He has held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the past 17 years. Mr. Poinsatte was recently awarded Public Sector CFO of the Year from the Dallas Business Journal. He graduated from Notre Dame in 1979 and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
