John Maher brings a strong, well-rounded knowledge of the entire Lands End business to his role as vice president of Lands End Business Outfitters. A Lands End employee since 1980, Maher began his career as a retail associate at the first Lands End outlet store on Elston Avenue in Chicago, and soon worked his way up to managing director of retail. He then went on to serve as director of licensing and full line store merchant.In 2006, Maher was promoted to his current post where he oversees the Business Outfitters, School Uniform and Gift Card businesses. While at the divisions helm, he developed and implemented a new strategic vision for the business, expanding Business Outfitters capabilities by entering the uniform and branded products markets and reintroducing Lands End into the school uniform market. Maher demonstrates strong historical perspective and a passion for the business customer, with a continual eye toward new ideas that engage the customer and bring business value. Maher is a member of the senior leadership team and reports to Nick Coe, the president of Lands' End. He attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois.
