Lamar Wilson

Lamar Wilson, CEO and founder of Fluent, is a serial entrepreneur and blockchain architect. A self-taught developer, he founded 212ths, an enterprise software development firm, after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in finance. In his free time, he created the Ignite project, teaching software development to underprivileged children, providing a real world solution to the growing technology and economic divide. After discovering Bitcoin in 2012, Lamar created the first mobile Bitcoin wallet in the iOS store. He also became one of the first developers in the industry to decouple the currency from the protocol for enterprise use-cases of blockchain technology in global trade. Seeing the massive opportunity to apply this new technology to streamline and reduce risk in trade finance, Lamar founded Fluent, the enterprise blockchain platform built for trade and the financial supply chain.
