Michael Palmieri

Michael Palmieri leads p3point's consulting focus to help government and private sector clients develop strategies, evaluate project feasibility, manage or bid P3 procurements (RFQs-RFPs, structuring and negotiating project documents), structure financing, and innovatively help clients to find ways improve to efficiency, affordability and profits. He is an MSRB / SEC Registered Municipal Advisor with a Series 50 License.Michael was the lead P3 financial advisor to the City of Long Beach on their $520 million Civic Center P3 project that he helped to reach financial close in April 2016 and has extensive international P3 experience in infrastructure, power, water, transportation, district energy and private equity including: Led 21 ($13 billion) and team member in 52 ($28 billion) of new infrastructure project procurements; Led 19 ($369 million) and team member in 9 ($185 million) closed private equity infrastructure investments in deals totaling over $7 billion of financing; Helped raise $625 million of private equity LP capital for 6 funds.Michael was a Partner in KPMG’s Global Infrastructure and Projects Group, a public finance banker at Merrill Lynch, a project finance banker at IFC/World Bank Group and was a member of the infrastructure fund management teams at Energy Investors Funds and Texas Pacific Group. He taught graduate school project finance at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.
