Chief Facilities Officer

Ronald Bordelon is the Chief Facilities Officer for the Louisiana Department of Education Recovery School District and oversees all aspects of the $1.8B School Facilities Master Plan for Orleans Parish, the largest school disaster recovery program in US history. As former Chief Executive of a privately-held real estate development firm, and appointment by the Governor of Louisiana to the State Board of Commerce and Industry, Ron brings a unique blend of both public and private sector approaches to disaster recovery and large construction programs.Admitted in both State and Federal Courts as a real estate and construction expert, he is supported by multi-state licenses in real estate, appraisal, construction, and various professional certifications.Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development, and is ABD earning a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Organizational Development, presenting at international conferences in London, United Kingdom and Montreal, Canada. Ron developed both Corporate Facility Planning and Commercial Financing Strategy curriculums as part of a Master of Real Estate program, and serves as an Associate Professor for Villanova University in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
