Julia Hu (00:11):

Hi guys, how are you? So quick show of hands, how many of you guys have an employer that offers chronic disease prevention or chronic disease management service or stress and anxiety service? Alright, thank you guys. Smart companies. So your employers know that employers spend about 36 billion on chronic disease. Now, another quick show of hands, how many of you guys with think that you're CFOs with the market going the way that it is is going to ask you to reduce your cost with your benefits but you're still out there trying to provide the best care for your teams, same big crowd. So that's the conundrum that Lark has been trying to solve over the last decade. The mission of Lark is to help anyone struggling with a chronic disease at high risk of a chronic con condition or stress anxiety issue to live a happier, healthier life, but do it with unlimited care at a really accessible cost so that anyone in the world can achieve this care. It took us about a hundred million dollars in tech r and d about seven years and more than a million, almost a million and a half patients that we trained our AI on before we started getting clinical equivalents to live nurse-driven programs. Since then, we started working with health plans and now manage a population of 30 million members for our health plans and through our health plans work with about a thousand employers until recently. We work through health plans. Now we're coming to employers directly. I know that you guys as benefits brokers and consultants have so many choices or just employers and we wanna throw our hat in the ring and we think that we have a couple of differentiators. So one, we are a platform. We spent almost a decade on the tech to develop close to 10 disease states now. And so instead of having wonderful point solutions, but so many of them, it's a one-stop shop and we're developing many more.Second is engagement. We want our employees to be happy and healthy and they need to be engaged to do so. We had 355 million text messages in a year with our members and patients. If those were live nurses, that would be 14,800 nurses on our staff and three cost. So while we are clinically equivalent to nurse driven programs, live nurse driven programs the nice thing is that because it's tech driven, we are half the cost. So I'm not going to blab a bunch more. I wanna show you what Lark does if we can play the video. And I'll take you through Gina, a pre-diabetics experience. So think of Lark as your 24 7 text message-based coaching service. It's available anytime, anywhere, and within two minutes of getting diagnosed with pre-diabetes, Gina is on her way to getting care with Lark and our CDC fully recognized diabetes prevention program. So Gina gets care in a very holistic way. We don't just treat the disease, we treat the comorbidities and all the conditions around that. So Gina is feeling stressed that she has pre-diabetes now. Well, we have an ai, cognitive behavioral therapy stress service. Think of unlimited five minute texting sessions with your LARC coach at 1:00 AM at night when you're feeling a bit stressed. So Gina gets first a bunch of tools for her. So for a pre-diabetic, we'll be sending a cellular weight scale to her home, a Fitbit to her home so that she can lose 5% of her body weight. If she's a diabetic, we'll send her a glucometer. If she's a hypertensive, we'll send her a blood pressure monitor. So our programs really cater to the different conditions. We then start looking at what is the right smart goal to give Gina. And looking at her stage of change, looking at her lifestyle and her habits, we decide this is the right kind of pacing for her, but we help work with her on short-term and long-term goals. So Lark is all about working with health plans and employers in figuring out what are the right programs for their many, many different employees, whether it be folks needing to get a little help with smoking cessation or stress management or losing a few pounds or managing their hypertension, cad, et cetera. And we do it in a couple of different ways. We will do education based coaching and we will do personal coaching in a personalized way. So this is our educational based mission. And we know that the CDC, the American Diabetes Association, the AHA, they all have these great care plans, but it's a bit dense for people to read. So we've turned them into three minute educational sessions so that people can do them at the grocery store or in bed. But we also have personal nutritionist coaching sessions, personal fitness coaching sessions, and this is a personal nutritionist in your pocket. So you can tell your LARC coach that I had a piece of chocolate cake or if you're being good, you can say, I only had a bite of chocolate cake. And Lark will actually know. Okay, that's 0.1 servings instead of one whole serving of chocolate cake. And depending on your condition, whether you are diabetic, will coach you much more on carbs, whether you are hypertensive will coach you much more on sodium intake. And it's all about disease specific nutrition coaching in the moment. And so here we're talking about red badges and green badges. What's healthy, what's unhealthy? But we're nudging people toward healthy choices and helping them build their habits day by day. We track the members sleep so that we can help them sleep better and we can do some coaching around sleep. We track people's exercise through their phone sensors, how much they walked, biked, ran through their smart watches or Fitbits or Apple watches, and we're coaching on that. So three months in, she's learned a bunch of great habits. She's seeing wonderful progress because she's standing on her weight scale and showing I've lost five pounds, I've lost 10 pounds, I've lost 20 pounds now and she's building a lot of great habits. So this is just one example of an experience that is tailored to our millions and millions of patients and members that are already on Lark. Thank you so much. We hope that you guys join us in booth 3 0 6 and take a look at Lark a little bit more. Thanks.

Codi Holman (08:27):

Hello everyone. There it is. Hi. How are we doing this afternoon? All right, we like the energy. It's after lunch. It's about 2:00 PM We're getting a little sleepy, but not today, everybody. We are about to talk about everyone's favorite subject in the world, and that is food. All right my name's Cody Holman. I'm the corporate sales leader at HelloFresh, and I love chatting about food because everyone has to eat. Who in here here loves food? Anyone love the lunch we had food Just really brings people together. So just really to kick us off sir, what's your favorite food? Tacos. Tacos. Any other taco lovers in the room? People are like, oh, I guess please don't call on me. What's your favorite food? Spaghetti. Anyone likes spaghetti in the room? Okay, see, I needed to get your appetite ready because we're about to have fun and chat about nutrition, food, all that good stuff. I'm so excited to be here when it comes to food, food really brings people together around the table. And I feel like one of the biggest themes throughout this conference has been talking about ways to enhance employee benefits and do something more well-rounded, right? And food is one of those things that not just impacts your employees, but also their family. And so if you are not familiar with HelloFresh, excited to tell you a little bit about it. Who in the room has actually tried HelloFresh before? Okay, great. We're really proud of the fact it's become kind of a household name, but if you're not familiar, we are a meal kit delivery service. So really our goal is to provide all the fresh ingredients so you can cook a meal and six steps, 30 minutes or less. We wanna get you in and out of the kitchen quick. And what we find is a lot of the reason that employees aren't cooking or eating well isn't because they don't want to, but maybe they don't necessarily know how or have the tools to do so. And so at HelloFresh, we have a variety of recipes. If we actually could just throw them up there, we have 30 different menu options every single week and they change every single week. So lots of variety, different choices to choose from. And I think that's really important because in this room I'm sure we have some picky eaters, some like maybe chicken finger and French Fry fans in the room, but we also have some really creative eaters, people who wanna try new things. And so our menu changes all of the time. And I think something really important that I always like to point out about HelloFresh is it's more than just food, right? Dinnertime is a huge stress and can be a huge stress, especially on your employees. I would take a stab to guess that every single person in this room has attempted to cook a meal before. And we know that Lyft, you're looking for your recipe. Maybe you're looking on Pinterest or a magazine, you're trying to find the recipe. You have to go to the store, you have to source all of your ingredients. You're looking for cumin, right? We're unloading the car, we're cooking the meal, we're in the kitchen for an hour and a half, sweating, we eat in 15 minutes and then we gotta spend 30 minutes to clean it all up. And that's what your employees are experiencing at the end of their day. And so our goal is to give them that time back to do the things that are most important to them, spend time with their family, get better, sleep, all of those things. So if you're familiar with HelloFresh, then you're probably like, Cody, this is a B2C product. How is this going to work for my employees? And so if you are familiar with us, typically HelloFresh, we are B2C, an ongoing subscription program, but through the pandemic and as our eyes have really been open to the needs of employers being able to provide their employees with wellness benefits and opportunities, we've actually created two specific B2B products, which is what we're going to talk about a little bit today. The first one is our ongoing wellness solution called sponsored subscription. And in short, that is a cost share program between us and you invest, we invest. And the goal of this is to make our weekly meal kit as least expensive as possible for your employees. Two points about this ongoing program that I think are really important when you're looking at adding a food piece or a nutrition piece for your employees. Number one is food is very diverse. We have a lot of dietary restrictions, preferences. We wanna make sure that what you're offering your people, it's something that they can really customize to their specific needs. And so you'll see on our website, there's the opportunity to truly customize not just how often you're getting a HelloFresh box, but everything inside of it. So we have calorie smart options, carb, smart options, gluten free, vegetarian, but even down to the nitty gritty, we have a new feature where you can actually swap out your sides, your vegetables, your proteins, and that way your employees can really truly customize the box in a way that's a best fit for them and their family. The second reason most people kind of jump on board for this longer term sponsored subscription program is because we are a national company, so we work with farmers all across the us but one of the biggest benefits and things that we've heard is when you're rolling out a new benefit to employees, you want it to be something that can reach everybody where they are. And so we can deliver food even to those rural areas. I've heard a lot of companies sharing like, Hey, we don't even know if our employees have access to fresh ingredients or have access to a grocery store. And so we are able to send this to them. And one of the benefits of that is our new marketplace. So this is also a benefit for this longer term wellness solution. What it does is it actually allows your employees to make not just their Hello Fresh box, how they want it, but add additional groceries on top of it. So if they wanna add proteins, vegetables, snacks for their kids, cheese sticks, maybe opportunities that they wouldn't have based on their location, now that we're living in this remote space and people are living all over the place, they'll have access to fresh and healthy food. So I always like to paint the picture for this sponsored subscription program, kind of like you would for open enrollment, right? You have a health, vision, dental, mental health, and you offer a nutrition benefit. The second B2B offering is actually more of kind of that one time experience. So if you're someone in the room who has used HelloFresh before as a consumer, you've ordered it on a subscription basis, maybe you'd like to gift HelloFresh to your employees or offer them a one time box, but not without all that extra commitment. And so we have two opportunities to do so. One is we have specific B2B gift codes. So what that is is a one time gift where they don't have to enroll in a subscription. And we've seen this be given away for different parental leaves. If you have someone on sick leave, you wanna be able to meet a need for them and also let them know you're thinking of them. These B2B gift codes are a great opportunity, but then one of my personal favorites is in this new hybrid remote world we're living in, we wanna be creative on ways to bring your people together. And like I said in the beginning, food brings people together. And so we have had some companies do some really creative things with a HelloFresh box, whether that be starting a Slack channel where people take pictures of their plate compared to the plate on here and whoever's looks the best wins. But one of my favorites is when we have CEOs and people leaders who throw on a chef hat and do a virtual cooking demo with their team. We've seen such creative ideas in this space that Emily, if you wouldn't mind pulling it up I don't know if anyone saw the puppies in the lobby like, come on, that's a hello fresh meal and a dog. So whether you are looking for a long-term benefit or a wellness benefit for your team or you're looking for a way to meet them where they are, give them something that's nutritious and beneficial. HelloFresh has options for you. And truthfully, these two products are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to our family of brands. You might have heard of every plate Green Chef factor, we have heat and eat meals, we have fresh ingredient meals. And so whatever you're looking for, for your team, for your culture, and within your budget, we wanna be that one-stop shop solution for you. So you might have noticed we don't have a booth here today, so there's two ways that you can connect with us. Myself, Codi and my colleague Emily will be in the back after this with a good old fashioned business card, the paper ones. So we'd love to connect with you that way, or you can actually visit us at our corporate sales and partnerships page and we'd love to have a conversation with you about what's going to be the best fit for you and your team. Thanks so much and I hope I worked up your appetite to try HelloFresh. Thank you.

Kel (17:18):

All right, I opted for the podium, Mike, cuz there's only one of me. First, I wanna give a little shout out to the Hello Fresh girls for getting you all fired up for me before my time up here. But can I just say ladies, that while it is very, very important to spend less time cooking so that you've got more time with your families don't forget there's a market for the single ladies too. I got a whole lot of Hallmark movies to watch and wine to drink, so don't leave us out of your strategy next time. But hey, I appreciate everybody for being here. I am Kel I am from Lively. I am located in Washington DC the one native of Wisconsin, which is where what everybody in Texas is telling me the funny accent comes from and also the total adversity to sunlight. I'm sure everyone in this room is Tanner than me if the lights were on. No doubt about it. So wanna just say it's been an absolute ton of fun being here the last couple of days and I've noticed a common denominator with a lot of other vendors and providers that are here, right? They are very, very outside of the box benefits providers, and that's cool and you're probably thinking, okay, neat, neat. So now we've got this girl who's going to talk about health savings accounts. Nothing outside of the box about that, right? Wrong of course a lot of folks have them to pair with their health plans and no doubt about it, if you don't have 'em now, you're probably going to be getting one soon because they are growing. So it's a true conversation. But Lively is the out of the box HSA provider, which is why we are here. And there's a couple of things that make us unique. We are not owned by a bank. We are not a bank and we do not purchase banking software for our technology and that allows us lively to do a lot of really, really cool things that I'm going to show you today. We are the only spending account provider like this on the market that doesn't have one of those additional strings attached. Because of that, we can remove a whole bunch of red tape for employers, for our broker consultant partners and do a bunch of additional things that these other organizations can't do because compliance ties them or outdated technology ties them right, ties their hands. I'm super excited to show you our system today. It is not an antiquated banking like technology that won't function for employees or for employers. It is the modern solution to health spending accounts at Lively for us. We want to empower employees to spend, to save or to invest and to make it easy for them to do it. So I'm going to show you just a couple of things that make us different on our demo environment here. Things you probably haven't seen with your traditional health savings provider at your employers. The first place that I like to start is with this, what's eligible button? If we're talking about how employees can spend this money, they have to know what to spend, its what spend it on. We have an integrated partnership at Lively with the HSA and FSA store, which allows for employees to have very, very easy access on a mobile application or as well as on their desktop to search for eligible items. In addition to being able to search for those eligible items they can shop. So if you are sitting at home and you're on the sofa scrolling on your phone and you find something that's eligible in the directory because you were wondering and you just really don't wanna leave the comfort of your home and you can wait a few days to do it, no problem. You can shop right off of our website and we'll deduct the funds from your spending account with Lively. Lively has built an online record keeping system. The days of having to keep a manila envelope or like a coin purse or something with all of those additional receipts that you need attached to it just in case your number comes up and you get audited by the irs, right? Those days are over as long as you have your lively login for your portal, we are going to keep records for you for a lifetime on this system. Store the receipts here, you can see where it says Target and that there's a future reimbursement and there's $10 that's waiting. Super exciting stuff. I know you're also thrilled about it, but no need to keep all of the extra paper. Let us keep track of all of your expenses for you. Speaking of keeping a track of expenses and making it easy to spend, save, or invest, your dollar Lively can take the same technology that we attach to those debit cards that we give to employees to spend on their healthcare and attach it to your personal cards. You come to our system, you enter in a credit card number or your debit card number, your checking account number, and now you're going to the grocery store or you're going to a cvs and you don't have to separate the items into two transactions and pull out two different cards. We can attach that technology and scan your accounts and look for those eligible items, which will show up on an expense scout feature that we have that will show on your dashboard. I let mine run all the time because I just don't have time. I run into CVS, I need to grab a couple of things. Typically it's all that stuff that's on sale from the holidays, like 80 bucks worth of Christmas lights and then some additional stuff because it's like going to a target, right? Ladies know you go to a Target, it's like forget about it. You've got two things to pick up. You're going to spend $200 and that's just the way that it goes. This way we're finding free money for you and engaging the employees at every single level to get them reimbursements, Spending, saving, investing. We make investing easy here too. And if you're familiar with health savings accounts, you know what a challenge it can be to invest this dollar. A lot of traditional providers require minimum amounts before you can begin investing of a thousand dollars or $2,000. Most employees don't keep that kind of money in an HSA account. They're spending it right? They've got needs and everyone's healthcare needs are different. At Lively, we wanna accommodate that. You need $1 to begin investing with us. That's it. And the other great news about that is you can leave your HSA account empty and invest every single penny. Most traditional providers will charge if a balance drops below $500, $250 just as examples in an HSA account. Not for us. We're not going to penalize employees, we're not going to penalize anyone who's an HSA account member of ours for having to utilize this dollar. We have a couple of integrated partnerships on the investment side right from our website. You can invest your dollar with either venir or TD Ameritrade. You can make transfers right off of our website, move the money in, set up auto transfers. If you're just like me and you need someone to invest the money for you automatically and not think about it and then withdraw and move it right back into your HSA account. Easy peasy back and forth right off of our website, making those transfers easy. Lots of really, really neat things and I just wanted to cover those quick couple of ones, but of course, automatic bill pay if we can pay a provider direct right off of here, no problem at all. We make transfers from other HSA accounts into Lively, very, very easy with an entirely hands off option where we do all of the talking to the banks. We've eliminated all of those pesky fees that typic typically come with these types of accounts. Fees on opening and closing accounts, fees on debit cards, fees on renewals, say goodbye to all of it, but I kind of have to detach from the technology for a second just to really, really speak from my heart. Our goal at Lively, our real goal is for employers and for broker partners again, to never have to hear about us or about these spending accounts unless it's complimentary. My boss said to me one time, Kel, and look, I'm going to say this because he is much smarter than me, so I have to quote him. He said, Kel, I don't ever want you to look at this organization as the organization that has the most revolutionary technology. Everyone wants the coolest tech out there and we know we have that, but for us, that is a hedge and he is completely right. This particular benefit when we are talking about having money to spend on your healthcare has to plug into an element of empathy that has to exist within an organization that has this particular solution that is one of our corporate values. So we take the best in class technology that can do all of these super cool things and so much more that I wish I had time to show you today. And we partner it with best in class service and I'm going to drop a hot number on you before I leave. Lively has an NPS score, if you're familiar with net promoter scores of 73, which is the highest in the marketplace. The competitor closest to us is in the low thirties when it comes to these spending accounts. Our service is incredible. And if you don't believe me, Google Lively HSAs and see what employees in the market have to say. It is really the heart of our people and it is our service that has catapulted us on top of lists like morning stars that have made us leapfrog over all of our competitors in this market space and made us the fastest growing provider of group HSA benefits on the market to date. Cool. Come see me. We're at a booth around the corner so go into the exhibit hall and then around the corner to the right. I think I've met some of you already because I'm a little bit of a stalker and a squirrel and I've probably chased most of you down and said hello by this point. At least a few on the front row here that I see in a couple back there. But, thanks guys.

Fatima Karim Murji (27:49):

Saving the best for last. Hello. Good afternoon everybody. It is almost snack time. So my name is Fatima Kareem Murji. I am a registered nurse and the SVP for clinical business Development at a light, Alight. For those of you who don't know, we partner that transformation of benefits experience. It is that one personalized approach here, let me flip the slides. I went old school with a presentation. It is really working with health, wealth and work making that one entry point of experience. Alight work life is a platform for employees and their families, a single point of entry for benefits, payroll, wealth management, and my personal favorite health navigation. All right, so as we've seen in the past couple of days, behavioral health has been a topic at top of mind. And what we know is that taking that first step is really hard. The state of mental health in America reports that in 2022, most up-to-date stats that already 50% of Americans have experienced a mental health illness due to the pandemic and almost 50% is not seeking any help. So take a look around, look to your left, look to your right. One in two of us is suffering in silence and won't seek any help. So it's not that there's a lack of options because clearly if you've been to the exhibit hall today, there is a full gamut of vendors with excellent options. Some of the reasons that we see that people are not seeking help, what are they? Stigma, shame. Maybe they're the breadwinner and they can't out themselves in having a mental health issue. Maybe there's fear or their, there's distrust in their healthcare provider or in their employee group. Maybe they don't want anybody to know. They don't know where to go and they don't know who to see. Do they see a therapist? Do they see a psychologist or a psychiatrist? Do they see a social worker? What's the difference? And maybe there are some people in your employee group that are just helping themselves, they're keeping it to themselves because they work from home. They can opt out to drink that bottle of wine versus that glass of wine. If they were in person, they're self soothing. And certainly as we know, employees can offer and provide as much EAP and behavioral health services. But if nobody's seeking that help because there's so many emotional barriers that get in the way. And at LA and at a light, we actually have clients that offer 50 to 150 vendors to help with the benefits development. But there's different points of entries. So there's a behavioral health point of entry, there's a S T D point of entry, there's a case management point of entry, so many people to engage with before they can actually get help. So what's a low burial behavioral healthcare support? Our entry point begins with a single place, a single safe place. And that's with our Health Pros. Our Health Pros are dedicated resources that are available through chat or text or email. They're helping that personalized, they're giving that personalized care, helping navigate the healthcare system, answering healthcare questions, identifying experts and high quality providers and helping with claims and medical questions. We're really taking that confusion and that hassle, that messiness of who do I call and where do I go out of the picture? We're getting them the help that they need in a language that they can understand at Alight. We have a dedicated medical team and that includes physicians and nurses, a research team that can customize content so that employees can understand what they're reading about their health. And then we have an expert medical opinion team, and that's giving the option to your employees to have that second opinion. Our medical ally team really works on focusing on any and all conditions that includes cancer, msk, behavioral Health, now, cancer, msk. We know that they are cost drivers for all of our employer groups. So this is key. And specifically with behavioral health, we have in-house a behavioral health nurse practitioner, a behavioral health psychiatrist, and a social licensed clinical social worker. Not only do we have engagement with our Health Pro and our medical ally team, we support with symptom insights. And what does that mean? Symptom insights. We're really providing curated, customized content so that the employee can understand their medication, they can understand their diagnosis, they can understand their treatment options. So we're curating customized information at a level that they can understand it. We have a 90% health literacy level. 90% of people that go through the healthcare system don't really understand anything about it. And with every medical ally communication and engagement, our medical ally team will do a depression and an anxiety screening and will assess for social determinants of health, what social determinants of health, anything that causes barriers to getting good healthcare. So that could be financial, that could be lack of education, or it could be even transportation. How do I get to my doctor's office? And lastly, we help navigate the employee to engage with their benefits option. So taking the member out to determine which point of entry do I need to go to get help. We're really doing that one point of entry, where to go and then where to keep on going. Connecting employees to their case manager, maybe their health plan, maybe we're connecting them to their EAP vendor, but that one health nurse, medical ally team is supporting them through their journey all the way. So let's take a journey. Let's take a demo and here's my version of a demo. Let's take a journey with michael. michael's this 32 year old male manager, and he's coming out of an inpatient rehab, rehab center for substance abuse, and he's not quite sure where to go or what to do next. He's been discharged and cleared. Now what happens? Well, he reaches out to his medical ally team, a nurse. Her name's Beth, and Beth specializes in behavioral health. She finds out that michael is having some trouble with coping once he's been discharged. She does a depression and anxiety screening and screens for social determinants of health. And what she finds out is that michael is drinking to cope. He's coping because he is different. He has social pressures. He's looking to come out to his family. He's just broken up with his partner and he's having some trouble at work. Does this sound familiar? Is this perhaps an employee in your group? Is this perhaps a friend or a family member? michael is medical Ally. Nurse Beth helps him identify challenges with his sobriety and he gets connected with an LGBTQ plus provider. The nurse Ally Beth also helps him connect with his outpatient program. So he's now going to see an outpatient program, rehab center, as well as a therapist for his diagnosis. She supports him with giving him content and information to educate him on his diagnosis so he has a better understanding on how to navigate through his healthcare system. Beth will probably contact michael on average of 13 interactions, providing support, following up once he's been entered into that one point of contact, following up to see if he has a doctor's appointment, if he's going to see the doctor, if he's taking medication or if he's even having trouble with the medications. So it's that entry of contact, but then also that continuous follow up, giving him the tools that he can continue the journey of health with. It could be even recommending HelloFresh for a meal, right? Woo. Yes. Post 60 days at follow up. Michael reports that he's doing a little bit better, that he's continuing with his outpatient therapy and he is going to his outpatient rehab center and he continues to seek that support and integrate back into the world. Now, it didn't explain that when you're inpatient, when you're in an inpatient therapy setting, you're actually isolated from all of your triggers. And when you go home, you get discharged and you now have to go out into the real world. Those triggers are still there. So that inpatient and outpatient that follow up at outpatient therapy is really important and we can help michael get him there. So just to summarize, we know that removing barriers to accessing support is key, especially in today's world. And most employees won't seek help. They won't need, they won't seek help, one and two won't seek help or won't know where to go. Secondly, ad Alight, when connecting with our clinical medical ally team, we screen everyone for depression, anxiety, and social determinants of health, identifying any of those barriers to care and supporting them, taking them to the next level. And lastly, every employee experience is different. We know that it's unique and it's critical to not only seek help, but to continue following up with the treatment plan and engaging with other partners such as that is involved in that whole benefits guidance through their benefits guidance ecosystem. So thank you for your time. Come and visit us at Booth three 16. We have a raffle for some really cool sunglasses and I appreciate all of your time. Thank you everybody.
