It's the third year in a row for above 5% increases for group health insurance, with this year coming in at an unprecedented 9%. Individual market insurers have requested the largest increases in five years. In other words, it's shaping up to be an expensive year for healthcare for everyone. Renewal hikes in 2025 are breaking records — with some employers seeing increases they simply can't absorb.
