Driving meaningful engagement in employee healthcare is one of the biggest challenges employers face today. In this session, the Commonwealth of Kentucky will share how they approached healthcare navigation to meet employees where they are, reduce confusion, and increase engagement year-round. You'll hear practical lessons from a large public-sector workforce and walk away with ideas you can adapt to your own organization — regardless of size or complexity.

In partnership with Castlight Health, Kentucky focused on simplifying the healthcare experience and creating a clearer path to care for employees. This conversation explores how better navigation, trusted guidance, and a more connected experience can help employees make more confident healthcare decisions — while easing the burden on HR and benefits teams.

In this session, attendees will:

  • Identify the biggest barriers preventing employees from engaging with healthcare benefits.
  • Understand how the Commonwealth of Kentucky approached healthcare engagement for a large, diverse public-sector workforce.
  • Learn practical ways to meet employees where they are — digitally and human-to-human.
  • See how simplifying healthcare navigation can increase year-round engagement (not just during enrollment).
  • Apply real-world engagement strategies without adding complexity for HR or benefits teams.
