According to a recent New York Life Group Benefit Solutions survey conducted by Morning Consult, 75% of caregivers say caregiving has affected their ability to work or advance. With caregiving being time-consuming, stressful and unpredictable, this is no surprise. That's not to say, however, that caregiving is not personal, rewarding and provides many with a sense of purpose. This balance is imperative to caregivers' wellbeing, but they also need to feel supported by their employer with proper benefits and resources.
