From strong work-life benefits to a stellar retirement plan, these small companies are proof that you don't need to be big to provide big benefits. Here's a look at the 25 companies to make the Great Place to Work’s 2015 list of top small workplaces.

Software developer Ontraport encourages employees to expand their career path with an apprentice program where workers can shadow team members from other departments.

Comfort is key at this job search engine website. Whether it's jeans and sneakers or a dress and flip flops, Snagajob is more concerned with output and participation than an employee's attire.

23. Greenleaf Trust

Greenleaf Trust pays 100% of the health, dental and vision premiums for employees and their families. For most employees,the financial services company also contributes 75% of the deductible for employees and their families through a health savings account.

22. Mammoth HR

In addition to unlimited PTO, all employees who stay with the company for five years receive a two-week sabbatical and a $1,000 credit toward an activity of their choice.

Engineering and design firm Disher offers financial assistance to employees wishing to participate in mission trips, and up to 100% of costs can be covered. Employees can use up to two weeks of paid time on mission trips or stewardship activities in additional to regular holiday and vacation time.

20. Squaremouth, Inc.

At Squaremouth, a travel insurance comparison site, employees enjoy their birthday off. If an employee's birthday falls on a weekend, they can observe their day off on either the week before or after. Moreover, all employees also receive a $200 "birthday beer" bonus with that month's paycheck.
