16 jobs that turn a passion for romance into a career

Valentine’s Day can evoke images of chocolate, a special meal at home or fancy dinner out and of course, flowers. If you can’t get enough of the holiday, it might be time to consider a job that keeps the love alive all year long. 

Job site Adzuna compiled a list of 16 jobs for romantics, from the obvious choices of chocolatier, wedding planner or jeweler, to some that might be more loosely related to romance, such as babysitter and marriage counselor. Some professions, like florist, even have the science to back  up its ties to love: One Rutgers study found that flowers improve emotional health and boost intimate connections, and additional studies show that looking at and smelling flowers releases dopamine and serotonin, both of which have a positive impact on happiness.
