The demand for telecommuting is growing, as is the acknowledgment by employers that remote job options can help attract and retain the best candidates, says Sara Sutton Fell, founder and CEO of FlexJobs. These 25 companies are at the forefront of this trend, she adds. 1. Kaplan
This global educator has over 300 locations in more than 30 countries, specializing in online higher education, K12 program, test preparation, and professional training. Many employment opportunities at Kaplan offer the ability to telecommute from anywhere.
2. IBM
This well-known international company employs over 399,000 employees throughout the world. The employees of IBM are diversified and have a broad range of career opportunities through IBMs network of business units that include an integrated supply chain group, global business services unit, a research division, sales and distribution, software group, corporate office, systems and technology group, and a systems group. FlexJobs says IBM has several full-time employment opportunities available with the ability to telecommute internationally or from the United States.

As a service provider to the commercial insurance industry, US-Reports is headquartered in Loveland, Colo. and works with companies throughout the United States. US-Reports conducts audits, inspections, and risk control services. As an employer, US-Reports has offered part-time, freelance, and telecommuting work opportunities.
4. First Data
First Data is a Canadian firm that provides electronic commerce and payment solutions for businesses worldwide.
