While TikTok may not be the first resource people think of for learning more about different professions, the app has garnered billions of views through its profession-centered content alone.
Registered Nurse.org, an educational resource for prospective RNs, ranked which professions have garnered the most views on TikTok, noting that the app’s users have spent nearly four billion hours watching videos about 35 different professions, from doctors and nurses to electricians and accountants. And while users may not be watching because they want to pursue the same career, TikTok has become a way to gain insight across a host of disciplines, explains Melissa Stephenson, a media relations associate who works with Registered Nursing.org.
