Kemper Benefits names new vice president

Kemper Corporation has named Tracy S. Berwick as vice president, Kemper Benefits. In this role, Berwick will lead the development of Kemper’s voluntary strategy and benefit offerings.

Prior to joining Kemper Benefits, Berwick served as vice president of operations with AIG Benefit Solutions, where she provided leadership for the company’s group benefits business.

Kemper Benefits is a business unit of Reserve National Insurance Company. 

“Employees are increasingly viewing voluntary benefits as an important component of their overall benefits package, and participation in voluntary products is expected to grow,” said Andy Schallhorn, president of Reserve National Insurance Company. “Tracy’s experience and leadership will help us to further grow our market while positioning us to be the carrier of choice for voluntary products.”

Kemper Benefits products are underwritten by Reserve National and other business partners and include  both accident expense and accident indemnity insurance, critical illness insurance, dental, gap plan, hospital indemnity, limited benefit medical, short-term disability, vision and whole life insurance.
