He has also been a banker with Merrill Lynch (now BofA Securities) and Siebert Cisneros Shank (now Siebert Williams Shank). He began his career as an environmental engineer. Wasserman holds degrees from Cornell University, the University of Texas at Austin, and Columbia University.
