What are the most unique jobs found in the U.S., from sea to shining sea? Earlier this week, we showed you half of the 50 states individual and very unique jobs: ranging from soil scientists in Iowa to motor boat operators in Florida. Mentalfloss and Economic Modeling Specialists Intl. calculated the location quotient (LQ), the percentage share of each states workforce in very specific local job categories. On the heels of the midterm elections, learn a little bit more about the types of employees you can find all across the land.
