Remote work is here to stay, and your company’s tech tools are going to need a makeover to keep up.

Too much tech in the workplace has been one of many challenges exacerbated by the pandemic — 35% percent of marketing leaders are overhauling the technology tools they offer and 60% expect to make moderate to severe cuts to their budgets in 2021, according to a survey conducted by Gartner. Consolidating HR tasks into a single platform removes the weight off of HR leaders and the employees they serve.

Trakstar, an employee performance software provider, is helping employers do just that with a new integrated tool called Trakstar Platform. The offering gives employers the tools to execute and analyze data at every stage of the employee lifecycle — from recruiting and hiring, to training, development and more.

“[Employers] need to see bigger trends across their workforce because the workforce has fundamentally shifted,” says Julie Rieken, CEO of Trakstar. “So we took our best pieces and we're bringing them together to provide employees with something that's intentional, organized and process driven that lets employees know their work matters.”

Under Trakstar Platform, employees will have access to three fundamental tools — Trakstar Hire, which provides a single portal for users to post jobs, communicate feedback, conduct assessments and complete compliance reporting; Trakstar Learn, which helps companies build engaging training content and experiences; and Trakstar Perform, which features centralized performance data and benchmarks for administrators.

Companies will be able to incorporate employee development and performance activities into an organization's existing HR system through an employee dashboard. Consolidating these programs is more critical than ever in a fully remote environment, Rieken says.

“When we have various pieces of technology where employees have to remember multiple logins and navigate multiple systems, all of them become distractions,” Rieken says. “[Without that], the connections actually provide something really valuable for employees — simplicity.”
