They aren't team players

Perhaps one of the more obvious negative traits, those employees who only care about their own tasks and responsibilities are only in it for themselves. These employees frequently use pronouns like "I" and "me" and rarely use "us" and "we."

Rarely participate in anything

These culture takers are unenthused by their current company. They aren't present at company outings and they rarely participate in meetings.

They don't communicate

These culture snatchers like to remain in the dark. "They don't keep their manager up to date on their current assignments and don't discuss obstacles or roadblocks that may be holding them back," Gimbel says.

They don't go above and beyond

They aren't willing to do what it takes to finish a project or task. If they need to stay late to hit a deadline, don't expect them to.

They have a bad attitude

These culture thiefs usually come into the office unprofessional and unprepared. They are upset when new tasks are put on their plate and complain when they have too much to do.
