Employee benefit firms owe a lot of their success to teamwork, which can be challenged by absentee or tardy employees. Traffic is the most common cause of tardiness among employees (50%), followed by lack of sleep (30%) and bad weather (26%). But those are just the tip of the iceberg, according to CareerBuilder. Here are some of the most bizarre reasons employees actually said they were late to work.
