Salesforce, AECOM and NASA top the list of best companies for interns

Whether you're looking for an internship or a full-time position, it can beyay hard to tell which companies truly value their talent — but reviews and recommendations from interns can certainly be enlightening. 

Resume-builder Resume.io examined intern reviews from over 4,000 of the most popular companies on Glassdoor, ranking companies based on which had the highest percentage of interns who would recommend said company to a friend. While interns may not get the complete salaried, full-time experience, they do experience leaders, teams and the overall work culture from a likely low place in the organizational hierarchy.  

"They get the opportunity to interact closely with managers and supervisors, allowing them to get a glimpse into the company's management style, including how leaders communicate, mentor and support their teams," says Amanda Augustine, career expert and spokesperson for Resume.io. "So when they provide feedback on their internship experience, they reveal insights into various aspects that go beyond what might be evident from the outside."

Salesforce took the number one spot, with a 99% recommendation rate. Notably, companies like Aflac, CVS Health and McDonald's ranked in the top five worst companies, with just 43% of interns willing to recommend Aflac to friends.
